Role: Principal Heavy Lift & Transport Specialist Company: Bolashak-Atyrau Experience: 5 years in Heavy Lift & Transport industry and ideally 3 years as an engineer in support of onshore / offshore oil & gas projects. Bachelors degree or HNC in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical / civil) Strong transport engineering background with experience in performing stability and capacity analysis for the transportation of large modular structures on hydraulic platform trailers. Experience in managing Transport Contractors and interfacing with their inhouse engineers. Experience in large scale EPC projects and interfacing with other project disciplines. Experience with Kamag SPMT and SPT hydraulic modular trailer design and operational capabilities. Experienced in Ro-Ro loading and offloading of large structures from barges and vessels using multi-wheeled transports and ballast compensation. Ability to work independently and make recommendations to the best advantage of the project. High level of competence in AutoCad, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel Strong communication and written skills Ability to work unsupervised Team Player Job Requirements: Member of the Logistics Technical Group, consisting of a Group Manager supported by three Naval Architects and two Heavy Lift & Transport Specialists. Provide Heavy Transport expertise to project internal stakeholders with regards to transportation plans. Review and comment on transportation contractors execution plans and engineering manuals including: Land transportation manuals Load-out / -in manuals and temporary storage manuals Assist in ensuring contractor compliance with contractual work scopes, project requirements, HES requirements and industry best practices Participate in project execution risk and operational reviews and participate in mitigation planning as requested. Terms: Farnborough Rotation: 9 days x 80/Fortnight (10 hours)
