Job Description Seeking an IT-Business Analyst III to support their HR Shared Services team in Houston, TX. The IT BA III will be providing operational support for multiple HR/Talent Management applications. The main function of a business analyst is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for IT operational support. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business analyst usually reports to a Talent Management Program Manager. The job progression identifies responsibilities ranging from assisting, formulating and defining systems scope and objectives to self-directed activities that clients long term improvements in business processes. Responsibilities: Provide daily operational support for HR enterprise wide applications such as: -Software as a Service Success Factors modules -.net applications - other vendor provided software -Troubleshoot issues, discuss issues with technical team and vendor, test applications, communicate with team and business process owners. - Provide operational support to HR Talent Management applications - Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills. -Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time. -Expert knowledge of IT principles involved in operations, incident management, release management and vendor relationships -Software as a Service experience; Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Visio experience preferred Responsible for a liaison role between the business and the providers of IT services to ensure functional specs are understood and they have what they need to develop their tech specs; Analyzes issues to be solved within an enterprise and helps provide solutions to meet the desired business outcomes through the use of IT.; Understands and documents business requirements and user requirements to ensure system designs meets business needs; Ensures knowledge transfer to the support organization occurs prior to system go-live; Schedules and communicate the system go-live date; Develops and/or update documentation and training materials; Ensures IT and SOX compliance is covered; Documents, functional requirements that describe the system, process, or product to fulfill the business requirements. Job Requirements Requirements: 5-7+years IT Business Analyst experience required Previous experience as IT BA within Enterprise HR environment strongly preferred Previous experience within O/G Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant field required Previous experience supporting applications within a Cloud environment would be a plus!
