Job DescriptionEmail Job Enter Email ID Share Our Client, global leader in energy from waste (EfW) Industry, is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor with the following details: Location: Pichit, Thailand Status : Resident Mobilization : Sept 2018 Duration : 6 – 12 Months Job Description: • Supervision and inspection of the manufacturing and quality control of the steel parts manufactured at the workshop in Thailand. Parts manufactured are for example steel frames, steel structures, chute elements made from sheet metal, welded constructions. • Supervision and inspection of the erection at site in Thailand. Erection and installation of mechanical parts, hydraulic system, control and instrumentation. As a Site Supervisor • Knowledge of the ISO- and ASME standards. • Supervision and documentation of the erection works at the construction site in Thailand:  Steel structure  Fuel feeding system (solid fuel like municipal solid waste, RDF, Biomass)  Combustion system  Combustion air system. (Fans, ducts, dampers).  Cooling water system. (Pumps, piping, heat exchangers).  Steam boiler.  Peripheral systems for steam boiler.  Combustion control system.  Process measuring and control technology. • Coordination with client, superordinate or connected systems or assembly groups. • Supervision and documentation of the cold- and warm- commissioning. As a Personnel for Quality Assurance:  Knowledge of the ISO- and ASME standards.  Welding certifications for non-pressure and pressure parts welding according ISO and/or ASME standards.  Preparing the quality assurance documentation.  Supervision and documentation of the manufacturing of parts and assembly groups in the workshop in Thailand. • Inspection of materials, steel grades, profiles, welding certificates • Inspection of the (laser- or plasma-cut) parts. • Inspection of the tag welded assembly groups on geometrical tolerances. • Inspection of the welded assembly groups on geometrical tolerances. • Inspection of the welding seams. • Performing of leakage tests • Inspection of the movable parts regarding functionality. • Final acceptance / quality control of the finished parts and assembly groups. • Inspection of the geometrical tolerances. • Inspection of the functionality. •Inspection of the surface treatments (paintwork).
