Primary Objective To perform the role of HUC Field Engineer (Instrument and Telecoms) for Hook Up & Commissioning Works in aclient oversight team. This shall include assisting HUC Superintendent in the supervision of the EPCIC Contractor, its sub‐contractor(s) and Company discipline personnel. This includes taking responsibility for all onshore and offshore Hook Up, Pre‐commissioning and Commissioning activities from Mechanical Completion to system handover. Key Experience Requirements  Minimum fifteen (15) years of work experience in O&G industries of which at least ten (10) years must be as HUC field engineer, technician, supervisor or equivalent  At least ten (10) years of experiences as Client personnel in the upstream Offshore Oil & Gas industry  At least two (2) Offshore greenfield projects in Korean shipyards as HUC field engineer, technician or Supervisor, or extensive experiences in working in a multi‐culture environment  Previously worked on integrated projects with CAPEX in excess of $300MM  Preference for previous experience working on offshore projects which include brownfield and greenfield scope of work Critical Technical Skills and Capabilities  Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the construction, fabrication and hookup and commissioning of offshore facilities  Shall possess good knowledge and awareness of HSE matters in construction, mechanical completion and  HUC activities including schedule, planning, progress measurement, technical and methodologies  Must have strong technical knowledge and experiences in commissioning methodology, planning and work flow of Korean shipyard(s) and its completions methods  Must possess a good understanding of Completions Management Systems (CMS) and its industrial best practice for offshore facility  Must be well versed with relevant international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, ISO and AWS  Must have strong multi‐discipline supervisory experience and interfacing skills Core Personal Skills and Capabilities  Ability to multi‐task, forward plan, independently manage time and perform at a high level without the need for continuous supervision  Proactive, self‐motivated, with an ability to prioritize work and make decisions to meet deadlines  Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills  Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills  Strong interpersonal skills, exercising tolerance and respect when working within a diverse and multinational project team  Ability to oversee work and provide mentoring to inexperienced engineer Position Responsibilities  Ensure all HUC works are fully captured by the Contractor in their HUC procedures, schedules, drawings and other documentation  Supervise Contractor’s onshore/offshore commissioning works for ICSS, Packages and instrument & telecom items and assist with start‐up operations following commissioning  Consult with HUC Controls System Engineer for ensuring all control system on new platform and interface with existing platform  Reviews and checks HUC feasibility and methods to support realistic schedules for HUC activities  Reviews and approves all relevant site queries, site changes and deviation requests raised by Contractor which relate or effect HSE and HUC activities in a timely manner  Reviews and checks that site safety procedures and HUC procedures are incorporated with project specific requirements of HSE  Oversees Contractor’s activities with manners of quality and HSE points  Review and monitor materials and delivery dates and advice any impacts to the HUC program. And ensure proper preservation of materials  Monitor construction/ fabrication progress dates and advise any impacts to the HUC program  Liaise with project and other discipline engineers to ensure priorities are maintained for work preparation and execution  Be actively involved in mechanical completion system walkdowns, completions preparatory activities and OTP’s readiness and execution  Review and advise on commissioning and start up spares, special tools, testing tools, calibration & certification compliance, temporaries etc.  Ensure readiness of all PTW, JSA, method statements, work packs etc. in relation to HUC readiness and execution  Provide input to project reporting as needed  Engage in Instrumentation controls component of Vendor packages  Ensure readiness of all control system Interfaces and hardware including ICSS, ESD, PSD and cause & effects  Ensure readiness of soft log system, software fault, data and asset tracking register as required  Controls input into HUC EEHA activities through to system Handover  Input into operations prepared Start‐up of facility (i.e. OTP’s etc.)
