The role of the Site Quality Advisor will include but not be limited to; Participation of all scheduled surveillance activities, including awareness and continuous development to improve the Company surveillance. Ensure activities are reviewed and progressively completed to the requirements of the relevant approved inspection test plans, field test records, field check sheets, relevant codes or standards, procedures, approved for use design specifications and deliverables. Review and accept Vendor/Contractor documents as required or delegated (WMS, ITPs, Procedures, MDRs, etc.) Liaise with the Upstream Quality Engineer on all quality issues. Monitor the performance of the Contractor and Sub Contractor for site activities and supporting QCG quality processes. Where substandard performance is identified, raise the finding in Shell Quality Intelligence (SQI) and follow up NCR closure and compliance. Share Quality Insights from inspection and audit, record both positive and negative findings in SQI. Provide input to root cause analysis reporting for targeting areas of concern. Support contractor to establish continuous improvement projects. Provide functional guidance and assistance to QGC site project staff when required or as requested. Prepare Quality performance report for site activities Understand and proactively participate in HSSEQ project objectives and associated KPIs. Participate in HSE – Assist and Assure and related verification checks A strong quality focus with a getting things right-first-time mindset Active in promoting Shell’s NO Defect program to the whole project team including contractors and through the supply chain. What you need to bring: QA and QC experience in a Project Construction role Oil and Gas Industry experience Welding inspection or welding supervisor experience (Wellsite/BF QA Advisor) Knowledge, Languages, Skills and Attributes Educated with recognised qualifications (degree, diploma or similar) supplemented by demonstrated and proven on the job experience CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or equivalent (Wellsite/BF QA Advisor) NACE Certified Coating Inspector (Wellsite/BF QA Advisor) Butt and EF weld PE pipeline - PMBWELD301 & PMBWELD302 (Gathering QA Advisor) Good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Lead auditor qualification desirable Good working knowledge of relevant International and national Standards Good interpersonal skills The ability to manage multiple assignments with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining the quality objectives Benefits: Mobilisation out of Brisbane only 12 Month Contract 19/9 Roster - 10 hour days $924 per day including super Great Culture | Safety Focused | Professional Team
