Job Description Roles & Responsibilities · Implement the PMC Engineering Plan for the project – databases, specific contract requirements, budget allocation, planning sessions, manpower histograms and organisation charts. · Provide direction and leadership to the PMC Project Area Engineers and Project Lead Engineers. · Be responsible for, and provide direction and leadership within the PMC project environment to, groups of technical personnel located in the Home Office (Milton Keynes). · Accountability and responsibility for the PMC engineering project schedule, technical accuracy of project deliverables and control of manhour budgets across engineering disciplines. · Implement and maintain the project change control procedure. · Co-ordinate with other leaders within the project organisation to ensure that multi-discipline interfaces are properly addressed with resolution of technical issues in a timely manner. · Ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved work processes using standard tools that have been adopted by the EPC Contractor. · Understand the importance of, implement, control and resolve all aspects of interface management whether plant physical battery limits, external third party physical interfaces, Client, EPC Contractor or Licensor interfaces as required for the project. · Co-ordinate between Construction, Procurement, Project Controls, etc. Liaise with and make presentations to Client personnel, especially with regard to contract variances.
