Job Description Roles & Responsibilities · Housing technician shall assemble module part using a variety of handheld tools and equipment according to required specifications · Work on assembly line i.e. bank assembly, electronic assembly to final assembly via automated or semi-automated process · Sets up fixture to ensure proper mounting of parts/components such as electronic boards, module terminals and busbars. · Assemble wire harness for different types of modules using the appropriate type of connector, wire lengths, wire colour, wire gauge and lugs as per the design requirement/sample using handheld tools such as wire cutter/stripper, soldering iron & heat gun. May require to operate wire harness machines such as crimping machine and cutting-stripping machine. · Assemble casing of all modules (both for internal and external) using handheld tools such as screw drivers, pliers, wire cutters and drill gun. · Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, internal wiring, fastening parts and subassemblies as per the module specification · Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing and adjusting module parts as required. · Rework assembled module/parts according to engineering specification changes · Ensure all equipment and tooling are functioning and well taken care of, maintaining all are in good condition. · Comply all company safety policy and procedure to ensure a safe working environment · Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble product in an orderly and efficient manner.
