Job Description ABOUT CLIENT: An exciting opportunity with an established leading Malaysia based National Oil Company where the incumbent shall strategize and lead an effective implementation of strategies and plans with regard to projects handover from Development Project team to Production Operations through a comprehensive due diligence process in line with the Company’s policies and procedures, Corporate Governance, and established technical standards in order to ensure seamless integration and smooth transition from project phase to operations. JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:- Leads and drives the development and implementation of an integrated plan for projects handover from initial Project Screening to Final Project Handover/Closure through comprehensive planning and scheduling with optimized resources and cost effectiveness to maximize value creation to the business. Directs and drives the overall implementation, schedule and change management activities associated with Pre-FDP, Feasibility Studies and FEED by providing Operations requirements and influencing stakeholders to close identified gaps to minimize value leakages throughout project phase. Leads an effective implementation of budget management through efficient cost estimation and cost allocation during execution of project plan and schedule as well as close monitoring of funds availability in order to ascertain projects are completed in a timely manner within the estimated cost. Leads and provides guidance on technical integrity requirements and corporate governance via established technical assessments or quality control mechanism and effective communication to the project team in line with PCSB’s procedures and guidelines, established technical standards and work processes in order to ensure good governance whilst safeguarding company’s image and integrity. Drives project risk assessments and the quantification of Value-at-Risk through assessments, diagnosis & identification of imminent risk and recommend mitigation plan to close identified gaps to ensure projects are delivered timely in the most cost effective manner. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:- Degree in Engineering in related disciplines. 10-15 years working experience in managing technical functions in upstream oil and gas industry. Offshore experience is a MUST. REMUNERATION: An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.
