Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our Mechanical Services Shops team, responsible for rotating and static equipment repair and component fabrication.
The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, reliability, availability, and lifecycle integrity of instrumentation across industrial machinery and facility systems.
The role involves instrument engineering, calibration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, commissioning, and continuous improvement of instrumentation and control systems.
Key Responsibilities Instrumentation Engineering: Specify, evaluate, and maintain pressure, temperature, flow, level, vibration, speed, position, force, torque, gas, and analytical instruments.
Calibration and Metrology: Develop calibration plans, establish tolerances and intervals, maintain traceability, document calibration results, and assess out-of-tolerance conditions.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose faults involving sensors, transmitters, wiring, grounding, signal conditioning, I/O systems, instrument loops, networks, alarms, and protection systems.
