(400) Rotating Machinery Technician at GLOBAL PETROLEUM
Job Description Scope of Duties: • To collect, read, and analyse vibration data, of all equipment’s components based on CCM strategy(Component Condition Monitoring) • To perform and participate in the trouble shooting maintenance activities of the plant rotating equipment including pumps, centrifugal/Reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, Gas Turbines, fans, blowers, and high speed centrifugal air compressors packages. • To preform condition monitoring predictive routines of all equipment’s and its auxiliaries, notify any abnormality or malfunction to the immediate supervisor. • Lube oil samples collection, lube oil condition monitoring for rotating machinery. • To attend tool box meeting to establish scope of work, safety requirement, permit to work, special tools and material. • Perform assigned duties in accordance to the HSEM system. Job Responsibilities: • Vibration data collection of gas turbine & auxiliaries. • Performance condition monitoring, data collection (i.e. process parameters) of all rotating equipment’s and gas turbine. • Analysis, reporting of all rotating equipment’s problems. • Attend plant upsets and perform troubleshooting for all equipment’s. • Support other divisions and contributes in the teamwork activates. Minimum Requirements: • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical or any large process industry. • Should be familiar of vibration collecting reading and analysis. • Should be familiar in all online and offline data collectors handling capability such as (system1, CSI,MHM software) • Should be familiar with measurement tools such as Vernier calliper, micrometre’s and dial gauges. • Should be familiar in all type of alignment techniques. • Experience in condition monitoring of Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Pumps, Compressors and Gear boxes etc. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and capable of writing reports. • Capable to work on offshore remote area as per contractual rotational cycle.
