Air Energi are looking to recruit a Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Specialist for their client based in Saudi Arabia Position: Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Specialist Location: Saudi Arabia Qualifications * BS Engg Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent * Minimum 20 Years experience with extensive knowledge in Aero-derivative gas turbine engineering, design and selection. The incumbent must have previous engineering knowledge of Aero-derivative type gas turbines for mechanical drive applications; such as pipeline compressors and shipper pumps applications * The experience must include knowledge of Aero-derivative gas turbines core engine (power generator), power turbine sections. The incumbent must also have full knowledge of Aero-derivative gas turbine auxiliary, lube oil, hydraulic oil, air intake, ventilation, control system, protection, fire suppression systems, etc.. Must also has experience with inspection and testing of Aero-derivative gas turbines. Principal Accountabilities * Lead, direct and manage activities related to upgrading of pipeline aero derivative gas turbines * Prepare and approve gas turbine specifications, datasheets, technical bid evaluations and purchase requisitions * Provide expert advice on are derivative gas turbine markets, suppliers, sub-suppliers, etc capabilities * Lead coordination and clarification meetings with gas turbine vendors * Providing expert advice on design and selection of aero derivative gas turbines for mechanical drive applications. * Train, mentor and coach Saudi engineers Key Qualities * Providing technical guidance to co-workers * Proposing staffing solutions and training and development opportunities. * Being accountable for gas turbines deliverables * Making recommendations on staffing and other Human Resources activities Special Expertise * Organizing & supervising work of large group of professionals and non-professionals, or small groups of highly specialized engineers. * Capability to perform gas turbine performance evaluation, fuel efficiency assessment, life cycle cost analysis, etc.. Desired Candidate Profile BS Engg Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
