Key Responsibilities: • • Prior on-site experience in thermal power generation projects of open cycle, combined cycle and coal based • Overall knowledge of erection methodology & experience of erection, testing & commissioning of BTG & BOP activities • Must have successfully completed same nature of works in one or two projects • Well conversant with erection drawings, schedules, codes & standards • Prepare L1, L2, L3 schedule, manpower & machinery estimation, deployment schedule, erection schedule & Cost considerations • Knowledge of process equipment for thermal power plants • Prepares risk analysis for every proposal based on available inputs • Coordinates with engineering division / engineering consultant to develop accurate, complete & timely preparation of estimate. • Develop scope of work documents / RFQ documents and prepare bid analysis for subcontractors. • Prepare data bank from purchase orders / subcontracts and pricing forecasting. • Detailed timely preparation of estimates, develops basis of estimation and assumption reports for every estimate. • Prepare the techno – commercial offers for construction and EPC projects • Travels as needed in support of duties Required Skills: • 10 -12 years of experience in power generation projects out of that, 5 - 7 years of experience in preparing conceptual and detailed estimates of construction projects, power process equipment, mechanical and piping systems e.g. Boilers, HRSGs, gas turbine and generator, steam turbine and generator, various balance of plants systems etc. • 4 year bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed and recognized university . • Must be able to read and understand the P&IDs, flow diagrams, layouts, Isometric & Equipment drawings. • Should have sound knowledge of software like MS office, MS Projects, Primeavera, AutoCad etc. • Effective written, oral and presentation skills
