Dear Candidate, We have an excellent opening for Site Engineer with one of our reputed client Company for Sharjah ( UAE) location. Industry- Oil & Gas/ Storage Tank Manufacturing. Experience – Min 3 years UAE Experience Qualification-. Diploma/ B.E Job description- • Responsible for day to day site & shop work. • Before initiating site works, site inspection is mandatory in order to perform surveillance, and know site whereabouts. • Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations. • Manage and motivate team to deliver as per set goals. Your team can include but not limited to Welder, Fabricator, Rigger, Semi-skilled helpers, QA/QC engineer and Foreman. • Follow up with site engineers of Contractor and/or subcontractor to ensure that work is being carried out as per design drawings, specifications & meeting planned dates in schedule. • Prepare and submit Project Report summarizing project progress as per set targets and highlighting any risks. • If required attend weekly site meetings with the main contractor to provide progress of site work and highlight any blockers to achieve delivery time. • Interact with Project Manager for clarification in design/ RFI etc. • Actively monitor the work environment for hazards, and if found any report to the Site • Construction Manager for resolution and to your Project Manager for update in the progress report. • Assist in the quality and safety audit. • Identify and highlight possible risk on project, update your Project Manager in the progress report. • Accurately inventorying the jobsite and ensuring that the supplies are properly maintained. A stock register has to be maintained, and the security of the material has to be maintained. • Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications, • Coordination for verification of extra claims raised by the contractor. Report this to your Project Manager • Travel outside UAE for site work. Be stationed at site until project is completed. Use staff site accommodation until stationed at site.
