Job Description I am looking for a Piping designer for a variety of industrial and chemical process type facilities. Must have current design experience in process piping design and have the ability to utilize a P & ID to develop a constructible and cost effective 3D model and piping isometric design drawings. Must have a working knowledge of valves, in-line devices and typical support details. Individual will gather information from all sources required, including other disciplines, vendors, engineers, reference drawings and catalogues to produce complete functional and constructible design packages. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills Specific skill requirements - All Piping design work will be done in the PDS software. Use of Microstation software also integral with design responsibilities. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software particularly Excel. In addition, the following are also required: cryogenic design including coldboxes PDS Piping Design PDS Equipment modeling Isometric Extraction and drawing production Marian materials extraction Pipe support design and 3D modeling.
