Overall responsibility and accountability of Gas Plant Operations which includes, among others, the following : Ensure installations of equipment, instruments and civil infrastructure are as per specified and approved designs Along with the HSE Manager, lay down HSE norms and guidelines as applicable under the Kuwait Laws governing such activities. Ensure that the Plant consistently meets the specified targets with regard to volume and Quality of output. Ensure updated SOPs covering each and every aspect of the Plant Operations are in place at all times. Control, through documented policies and procedures, the activities of Vendors, Sub Contractors and all external agencies and individuals involved with the operation of the Plant. Actively coordinate with the Planning Managers on the budgeted numbers as regards output and profitability of the Plant. Responsible for providing all financial inputs and data to complete the process of compiling the Financial Budgets, budget plans and the budgeting process for the project within specified time frames Ensure that controls and reporting systems, as directed by the President are executed to ensure that project and other operating expenses are within the budgeted numbers. Facilitate constant training of the operations team with regard to up gradation of their skills and on complying with the HSE requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Graduate /Post Graduate in Mechanical/Civil/Instrumentation Engineering. Over 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas sector out of which at least 5 years as Manager in a Power or Gas Plant. Expert knowledge of Instruments and Equipment’s with specific specialization in Gas Plants. Candidates with Plant Commissioning Experience will have added advantage. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills, both in English and Arabic.
