•Coordinate the proposal activities and set a system and scheme to manage the flow of proposals. •Manage, supervise and administer the proposals team. Provide mentoring to the proposal team in Abu Dhabi. •Manage and coordinate activities through the satellite proposals teams in Mumbai and London. •Review all the technical aspects of these proposals and by seeking support and input from specific technical disciplines. •Review the commercial aspects of these proposals and ensuring that all contract terms and conditions are in line with SNC policies and requirement •Undertake, supervise and support in cost estimating the work activities for each proposal •Develop the commercial pricing, based on the cost estimation and develop the pricing strategies. Seek support and steer from VP Business Development Desired Candidate Profile •An Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil engineering is required with Oil and Gas experience in specifically Project management roles, •Must have worked as a proposal manager or a proposals Lead, Minimum 10 years.It is preferred that previous experience within Projects and/or Project Control has been gained.An ability to work and support proposal teams and other divisions / functions withing SNC-LAVALIN •A Seasoned Oil & Gas experience with a minimum of 18 yrs experience and working knowledge of the Middle East market •Ability to set the process and system for pre-qualification and coordinate the activities from the time an ITT is received until submission of offers. •Understand the commercial aspects of contracts and ability to assess the risk and providing solutions ( including the contractual requirements , risk identification and mitigation measures) •Ability to and deliver thru teams and people either in house or based in other locations. •Excellent articulation and communications skills •Can motivate and coach people and teams and especially under pressure.
