•Instrument and control engineering and design for concept, FEED, and detailed engineering projects in the oil & gas sector. •Instrument design and selection, checking of subordinates work, discipline work execution planning, control, and management. •Manage interfaces with other engineering disciplines (electrical, process, etc.) to keep the project moving forward smoothly. • Prepare and/or review technical and other project documents including specifications, datasheets, I/O lists, control narratives, instrument loop diagrams, instrument location diagrams, wiring diagrams, installation details, etc •Participate in P&ID reviews, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL studies, and other safety reviews. •Prepare and/or review design calculations and analysis for instrumentation and controls systems (using applicable software) •Manage remote teams in a workshare environment. •Handle multiple projects in a dynamic work environment •Mentoring and training junior engineers. Desired Candidate Profile •Bachelors. Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering •15 to 20 years control system design experience in Oil & Gas industry , Instrument & control/automation experience in oil & gas projects •Previous experience in the design of control systems, fire & gas detection systems, emergency shutdown systems, distributed control systems, and integrated control and safety systems. •Sound knowledge of process controls and instrumentation systems in process industries •Solid understanding and experience with automation engineering software (INtools, etc.) • Solid knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices • Able to work independently and as a part of a team •Excellent interpersonal skills and English verbal/written communication skill •Previous experience/participation in HAZOP and SIL studies
