Job Description Permanent representative on site with Customer Management. Ensure permanent relationship with Customer representatives on site Prepares the agenda and attends the site management meetings with Customer and / or partners. Lead CAE team at the site co-ordination meetings with Customers representative. Prepare the daily report and attend customer daily progress meeting. Liaises with the Project Manager as necessary and in particular keeps him informed of all problems related to contractual, planning & cost aspects. Reviews such problems with the Project Manager and the Project Control Manager and proposes solutions. Transmits to the Project Manager all reporting data concerning the site activities, Review & approve construction progress reports. Concise weekly report outlining the important events of the period; Co-ordinate with CAE Construction Departments field representatives on matters pertaining to construction progress and cost. Review and approve schedule and progress reports prepared by planning engineer before issuing to Project Manager. Advise Project Manager of impending schedule slippage or budget overruns and initiate corrective action. Responsible for all site activities till commissioning and handover. SITE ACTIVITIES Site Management & construction of Substations inclusive of all disciplines. Managing civil works to final commissioning and handover. Organize & Manage day to day site activities and assure the overall co-ordination of site activities. Ensure equipment availability. Authorize start-up of site activities in accordance with the agreed Overall Project Schedule. Reviews technical issues with the site team in order to ensure overall co-ordination of the works. Manage the coordination & relations at high level with the customer, our Agent, subcontractors, local authorities and partners. Ensures that Quality Management requirements are adhered to on site at all times. Administer industrial relations and safety policies to maintain proper discipline and morale. Ensure that construction procedures are closely followed. Provide for adequate safeguards over equipment, tools and materials. Arrange for release of equipment. Conduct weekly planning meetings to co-ordinate with the partners work and to ensure the availability of equipment, materials and manpower, in order to prepare weekly planning meeting with site representatives. Co-ordinate subcontractors and provide proper interface and integration of the activities to ensure overall schedule is adhered to. Co-ordinate all agencies required for inspection and commissioning. Coordinate for red markup and smooth handover and proper site documentation after commissioning. Co-ordinate with CAE Construction Department to ensure that construction plans are properly integrated Responsible for the implementation of the Project HSE-Plan and all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment. He shall ensure that all employees at site are aware of the hazards and risks at site and its interpretation of the risks in line with Client HSE requirements. Responsible for the safe performance of all its sub contractors’ activities. Ensure that the safety performance is monitored by coordinating internal audits and inspections. Ensuring HSE Risk Assessments are carried for all potentially hazardous activities. Ensuring all Emergency Response planning is in accordance with project requirements and that Emergency Response training is carried out. Take part and intervene in establishing the Safety policies. Enforcement of safety practices at work site. Is responsible for communicating HSE to all employees by conducting internal HSE-Meeting, HSE-committee meetings, coordinating tool box talks, etc. Desired Candidate Profile Capable/Experienced in Managing contracts, contractual issues & Liaising with client. 2. By delegation from the Project manager, the Construction Manager has overall responsibility for construction and installation execution on projects. 3. Have handled/handling manpower of over 700 employees. 4. Experienced/Involved in executing project with the value of US$ 100 million or above.
