Job Purpose and Scope: To ensure that all aspects of quality for offshore and onshore wells are met, through the creation of quality systems for the Drilling Organization and all materials suppliers service companies working for ZADCO Drilling, monitoring conformance to quality standards, processes and procedures and the management of the Operation and contractual Audit, Pre-qualification and Surveillance Audit Root Cause Analysis. Principal Accountabilities: •Manages the design, development and implementation of quality standards, processes and procedures in line with International Standards and local requirements. •Provides the Drilling Management team with specialist advice and guidance on all quality issues. •Responsible for the implementation of the Drilling Integrity Management System (DIMS) •Provides the standards, specification and procedures for the level of quality requirement for each type of services and materials, which includes but not limited to Rigs, Wellheads, OCTG, Down-hole and Drilling Accessories, Cementing, Fluids, Directional Drilling and other related service. •Managing the quality program which includes, developing the specific quality requirement for all tenders and contracts, auditing, qualifying suppliers and contractors, approving manufacturing quality plans, inspecting, acceptance and commissioning of drilling rigs and equipment. •Responsible for the integrity and fit for service of all materials/equipment and services to ensure cost effective, continuous and safe operations. •Responsible for final review and approval of all end-of-well Quality reports and the well handover Quality documents to Production. •Directly accountable for the management and supervision of all quality assurance engineers on a daily basis. •Conducts personnel assessments and rating/ranking of direct hires for the Drilling Organization. •Guides, directs, trains and develops all members of his team to perform to their full potential, particularly UAE Nationals and contributes actively to the Emiratization process. •Works in line with Company HSE Policy and ensures subordinates comply fully with HSE procedures, rules and regulations. •Develop and manage the quality software for QMS aspects. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum Requirements: •B. Sc. Engineering Degree (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical) •Minimum of 10 years upstream oil & gas work experience preferably with worldwide integrated oil companies. •Work experience as a Quality Drilling and/or Completions Engineer; minimum of 10 years. •Formal courses and certification in ISO9001 Lead Auditing, Non-Destructive Testing, Basic Drilling/Completion operation, Rig Inspection, BOP’s operation. •Experience with offshore and onshore drilling/completion operations and safety. •Demonstrated skills in Economic decision evaluation •International work experience. •Demonstrates potential leadership and management skills. •Strong technical contribution in technical forums
