Responsibilities:  Assure the Safety of Department /Contracting Staff through compliance with Occupational Safety & Health regulations and maintain the attitude that all accidents are preventable & ensure full compliance towards QMS, EMS & HSSE standard requirements.  Good Knowledge of elevated safety work, Confined space entry, LOTO and other similar hot work procedures.  Responsible for the safety of Contractors and to ensure compliance to HSSE standards during the entire phases of projects.  Qualify contractors and keep a database of all type of project works  Plan and Execute projects within given time frame and budgets utilizing project methodology.  Close the projects with proper documentation, communication with stakeholders.  Ensure a harmonious working atmosphere in the plant and among the contract workmen.  Initiate new ideas, to increase the productivity thus reducing operational cost.  Ensure Maintenance dep aligned with company objectives.  Conduct RC investigation for major breakdown and repeated cases of breakdown.  Initiate Reliability engineering in maintenance, RC analysis of major breakdown and put in controls.  Attend, monitor and place control on breakdown of all plant equipment (Blending, Filling, Packaging and Laboratory)  Assure the implementation and compliance of an effective Preventive Maintenance Plan, Test and inspection and equipment maintenance. Coordinate with Lab and other areas of operation for similar requirement.  Indentify, develop and implement training programs to Maintenance & project Team.  Monitor and control monthly maintenance spending.  Monitor and provide control programs for Utility KPI  Keep the General Manager (Ops) appraised of all activities in timely manner.
