We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC in Qatar for a: MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Your main duties will be: - Roles at this level are all involved in applying trade skills to the planned maintenance, installation and repair of Company plant and equipment. - You will provide work direction to Company’s technicians & contracted technicians and work with limited supervision, but have access to advice and guidance if needed. - You will be responsible for completing work according to allocated time frames and to high craft standards and have a role in providing on the-job training for Company’s technician. - Completion of secondary education (12 years), followed by either the completion of an On-Job-Training program or a minimum of 4 years direct maintenance experience in the oil and gas sector. Ideally you should be a Diploma Graduate with Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in oil & gas industry. Contract duration: 1 year with possible extension
