• Prepares cost estimates for engineering projects or services to aid management in bidding and/or determining project’s budget • Identify and quantify all required cost factors related to direct & indirect elements such as (materials, equipment, labor cost, construction cost, etc.) to complete the work • Maneuver to job sites to gather information about materials needed, labor requirements, and others • Collaborate with project leaders, planning engineers, contractors, stakeholders and others on estimates to ensure its accuracy • Responsible for forecasting the expenses and scope of projects as per the project plan • Analyze the actual expenditures/overheads and envelope cost information for management to help in financial decisions
