• To manage projects within budget, time schedules, statutory requirements and Company’s procedures ensuring compliance with HSE and QA/QC policies and customer satisfaction. • Represent the Company and enhance relationships in dealings with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities. • Provide overall leadership and direction through all phases of the Project, from the initiating through the final closing processes, with clear focus on the Project’s goals and objectives • Manage resources and expenses to achieve contract completion within budget and time frame. • Ensure timely payments are received from the customer in accordance with contract conditions. • Identify and ensure skills and training needs of assigned manpower are aligned to project requirements and support recruitment activities to source technically competent personnel for the project. • Participate in the pricing of tenders and technical documentation for upcoming projects as required. • Lead a Project team to ensure timeframes and customer satisfaction are met. • Identify and scope any additional works and technical upgrades not covered in the contract to enhance the project deliverables, customer satisfaction and improve Company’s revenue. • Be responsible for maintaining a competency management system for all employees Desired Candidate Profile • Must have more than 15 years’ experience in HVAC Maintenance and Design works in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining industry, out of which 5 years shall be in the similar role. • Educational qualifications: Preferably degree in Bachelor of Engineering . • Must be fully aware of safety aspects of working in a Petrochemical industry. • Must have proven leadership qualities & be able to organise a large site maintenance teams and manage the site organisation independently. • Must have a good knowledge of Cooling Load Calculations, Designing, selection of HVAC equipments, HVAC Control Logics etc.. • Must be able to lead the team on Engineers, Planners, QA QC, HSE, Supervisors and etc. • Must be capable of assisting in QA / QC / HSE compliance audits on site procedures and HSE Plans. • Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 6 Equivalent). • Must be able to work with computers utilising design soft wares, Microsoft Windows, Excel and Office suite of packages. • Must be able to organise the materials and equipment as and when requested by Company. • Must be able to trouble shoot, test and propose repair methods without any supervision. Shall stand in for the HVAC Engineer if required. • Must be able to interface with the Maintenance and Turnaround contractors to plan and execute the Maintenance and Turnaround activities. • Must be able to plan associated activities, and acquire the resources to mobilise all required personnel and equipment on time. • Preferably have a working level experience in SAP-PM and CMMS. • Be responsible for maintaining a competency management system for all employees • Must be capable of obtaining a Qatari Driving licence and completing defensive driving training.
