 Directs and participates in the provision of various technical advisory services to sustain asset integrity and reliability of Refinery rotating equipment, troubleshooting and modification jobs on rotating equipment at RR. Reviews and monitors machinery performance to ascertain its health both on-line and off-line, performs reliability/availability analysis as well as the implementation of recommended optimum methods to deal with chronic problems. Provides specialized technical guidance and support to field engineers & supervisors in developing and updating of predictive/preventive maintenance programs and ensures their implementation. Supports major expansion projects including reviewing design basis and scope prior to detailed engineering. Develops strategies to update/replace equipment and systems that are obsolete and old. Conducts HSE audits and evaluates systems and procedures from HSE perspective Desired Candidate Profile  B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.  9 years’ experience and specialized knowledge in rotating equipment maintenance, repair, diagnostic and analysis, including a variety of large compressors, pumps and turbines in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.  Familiarity with CMMMS (Maximo preferred). Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) techniques.  Good spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.  Analytical and precise communication skills.
