Job Description Our client based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a candidate to work as a Contract Engineer .The ideal candidate must have 5 years experience in same field and will to work for 4 months contract. Review and analyze the user contract request scope of work, bill of quantities, specification and respective drawings to ensure the availability of complete and adequate information. Develop bidders list, tender and contract documents for jobs of various nature and disciplines. Review the technical evaluation results, conduct the commercial evaluation and ensure contractor evaluation is performed in line with the procedures. Maintains Contracts records Ensure implementation of contractual obligations as per project requirements and that variations are analyzed and issued in accordance with the approved scope. Coordinate with the end user on the site meetings, and tender clarifications. Raise the level of end user awareness about contracting procedures. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results Ensure legal requirements are followed. Ensure retention letters, bonds, guarantees and completion certificates are in line with the requirements. Monitor suppliers performance against KPIs and develop reporting tools. Protect operations by keeping information confidential Negotiate with the bidders based and coordinate with other disciplines on the same. This includes participating (when requested) in QHSE audits, office inductions, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as applicable • Systems have to be in place in all projects. Desired Candidate Profile Develop contracts for jobs of special nature such as consultancy services and other various types such as mechanical, electrical, instrument, civil, from pre-qualification stage through tendering, evaluation to conclusion of contracts. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or supply management Preferred Experience: • 5- 7 years in contract administration and financial analysis experience in a major project environment Job-Specific Skills: • Demonstrated ability to deal negotiation and influence effectively with subcontractors and suppliers • Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritize actions • Strong financial and commercial skills • Strong MS Office and written and oral communication skills
