• Multidiscipline experience (petroleum engineering, geoscience, GIS, computer science) in dealing with complex issues across disciplines. • Wide experience of enterprise level problem solving and project management. • Knowledge of integrated field studies, subsurface data types (e.g. logs, well testing, coring, down-hole sampling) and surface data acquisition (e.g surface production metering, sampling). • Knowledge of deployment of data management and related software and databases for geoscience and petroleum engineering (e.g. Seabed, Openworks, Oracle, UNIX). • Knowledge of geoscience and petroleum engineering data handling (loading, manipulation, editing, access, industry standards, integration, federation and architecture). • Relational database management systems and petroleum industry data modelling concepts. • Excellent client and vendor relationship management skills. • Excellent supervision, team building, company policy, quality management and procedure skills. • Excellent communication, presentation, motivation and negotiation skills. • 10+ years experience in the managing of geoscience and petroleum engineering data and records. • B.Sc. in Information Management or Computer science or Geoscience. • Experience of tender/contract development and project management is desirable.
