We have identified a need for a Planner to support our PMC project that will monitor the EPC Contractor’s work activities to be based in Abu Dhabi in the Contractors office and eventually to be based on Zirku Island during the construction phase, offshore in the UAE Principal responsibilities will include: Maintaining overall construction master schedule. Providing Site Teams with Planning assistance and oversight of the EPC Contractor’s Construction execution. Working closely with the EPC Contractor during the development of the overall Construction schedule. Once developed, maintains the Company Master Construction schedule and progress curves and compares the Construction progress curves and forecasts with the EPC Contractor provided curves and forecasts. Assists Site Management with understanding and resolving discrepancies. Works with Construction Lead to confirm/validate that the EPC Contractor’s physical progress and milestone payments for invoice payment purposes. . Anticipates any potential slippage and critical path deviations and immediately make Management aware. Discuss mitigation and corrective actions with the Site Controls Lead and the Construction Manager. Assists the Construction Manager in providing required data for ad hoc management reviews and presentations. Prepares input to Site Construction progress reports. Evaluates the EPC Contractor’s allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain required progress.
