Job Description Job Title: Construction Engineer – Energy Transfer Station (ETS) for District Cooling System Department: ETS- Business Unit Job Location: Qatar Job Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the progress of construction of multiple ETSs independently. - Manage and provide assistance to CAD (Draughtsman) for ETS design development. - Liaise with Contractor / Consultant for co-ordination with other services for design and Construction. - Carryout material review for ETS construction. - Ensures the needs of MEP contractor are met during construction, testing and commission of ETS. - Follow-up with MEP contractor to ensure that ETS construction is on schedule and in compliance with ETS guideline. - Co-ordinate with finance and issue invoice and follow-up for payment with client on time. - Handing over the ETS to client as per the scope of work. - Participate in the preparation of contract and offer for various ETS Costumer. Key Accountabilities: - Manage and supervise ETS construction. - Follow-up with MEP contractor. - Handing over the ETS to client. Desired Profile: - 10 to 12 years HVAC experience in Design and Construction of chilled water plant with capacity 2000 TR and above. - Familiarity with industry practices, local regulations, specifications, international standards and new technologies. - Experience in ETS construction shall be given preference. - GCC experience with driving license is mandatory requirement. Job Related Competencies: - An Engineering Degree or equivalent. - Working knowledge of auto-cad. - Knowledge in Chilled water HVAC system design. - Good command over English language both oral and written. - Excellent communication skills. - Detail oriented with good analytical skills. - Advanced level skills with MS Word and Excel.
