 Study of project tender/contract docs, to include the complete study of all FEED documents provided by the client.  Study of project detailed engineering documents, which includes the study of client approved (AFC) detailed engineering drawings, specifications, method statements and other relevant documents.  Any variation found in the actual S.O.W with respect to the contractual S.O.W should be hi-lighted and a claim for the increase in the scope should be appropriately prepared and ensure its submission to the client.  Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per SOW, which shall lists the individual work components quantities required to complete/construct the project as per the client approved #AFC# drawings.  Prepare and issue Material Take-Offs #MTOs# & Rebar Fabrication Orders #RFOs# for procurement which shall list the individual material components quantities as per the client approved #AFC# drawings and specs.  Prepare BULK MTO for the whole project scope, which shall lists all the materials required to complete the project as per the client approved #AFC# drawings and specs.  Prepare and issue Request for Quotation #RFQ# for sub-contracting works, which shall lists the detailed scope of work to be done under the sub-contract, sub-contractor’s responsibility matrix, etc….  Prepare budgeted cost vs. actual cost statement for all the project works and hi-light the major variations.  Prepare MTOs schedule based on the Engineering / Drawing base schedule and to keep updated every week.  Prepare MTOs, RFQs & RFOs register and keep updated every week.  Verify all POs/SCs with respect to the relevant issued MTOs/RFQs.  Verify sub-contractors claims/invoices with respect to the actual works done at site by the sub-contractor.  Maintain the tracking of drawing revisions to ensure that BOQ & MTO taken as per the latest approved #AFC# drawings and specifications.  Coordinate with planning and cost control department to ensure the invoicing of all additional work claims, etc...  Coordinate with engineering department to know in advance the issuance of new drawings and changes going to be made in the issued drawings due to site constraints, in order to plan relevant material procurement.  Ensure contractual notices and client entitlements are properly administered, including prepare claim and/or back charges to client for any variation orders and additional works.
