Job purpose & Scope: Provide support to UZM Teams and UZ Site to effectively implement planned maintenance activities, shutdowns and campaigns as well as minor projects as applicable. Pro-active interface with CM and LG for timely materials forecast, ordering, delivery and logistics support as well as inventory optimization. Principal Accountabilities: a.) Review minor projects / major maintenance campaign / Hook-Ups MTO’s and identify / consolidate requirements. b.) Ensure, at all times, adequate stock availability for hook – up Campaign in line with Drilling Rig Chart @ Dynamic 3-monthly review. c.) Prepare materials requisition for identified materials requirements per individual project / activity. d.) Liaise with CM and LG to expedite materials ordering and handling / movement. e.) Liaise with ENGG. Disciplines regarding materials specs. Compliance / clarifications in line with requirements. f.) Pro-active interface with CM to establish blanket materials supply agreements in line with envisaged repetitive requirements. g.) Participate with CM / LG in spare parts / materials rationalization exercise as applicable. h.) Prepare SPIR’s for new equipment and issue SCAD’s as applicable. i.) Liaise with UZM Engineers and UZ Site Maintenance Teams regarding critical spare parts identification / availability. j.) Establish and update a register for major spare equipment and insurance items. Ensure proper preservation and periodic inspection to that effect in line with established criteria. k.) UZM focal point for RFAD issuance and follow-up with CMM. l.) Ensure materials / spare parts spec. update in conjunction with CMM as applicable. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum Requirements: a.) BSC Mechanical Engineer. b.) 10 years experience in the related field in oil / petrochemical Industry with strong maintenance background. c.) Good knowledge of NDT techniques. d.) English language proficiency (Verbal and Written). e.) Basic IT skills
