Lead Electrical Design Engineer - Oil & Gas Salary: $12,000 - $14,000 per month + package Location: Saudi Arabia Our client is a major EPC contractor within the Oil & Gas industry, working on a number of greenfield and browfield projects including platform upgrades, subsea pipelines, and construction of new facilities both onshore and offshore. They are looking for Lead Electrical Engineer with experience in onshore and offshore Oil & Gas to take part in a range of projects on a 13/2 week rotation. Duties include: - Perform and oversee Electrical Power System Analyses, compliant with all applicable codes - Oversee Electrical Engineering personnel, providing guidance to the design project teams - Man hour estimation for engineering and design activities - Project reporting - Perform associated electrical calculations covering equipment sizing, cable sizing, AC/DC UPS systems, transformers, lighting, impressed CP etc. - Coordinate E I & T cable rack inputs into 3D computer design model Minimum Requirements: - BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering - Ideally a Fellow or Corporate Member of a recognised professional body - Extensive experience in engineering design on Oil & Gas mega projects - Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures and specifications - Should have experience with Microstation and SP3D CAD system on projects - Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ANSI, API, NFPA etc.) This is fantastic opportunity to join a major EPC contractor on a long term programme with a continuous flow of projects for the coming years.
