Their remit is to successfully provide Project & Construction Management (PMCM) services for the implementation on the cutting edge, world-class Riyadh Metro project: Role Summary Assist the Senior Traffic Specialist in assuring client requirements are fulfilled by the design builder and assist in assuring traffic plans are integrated into the staging and construction sequencing of the project. Traffic engineers work in a variety of capacities to create and manage designs and operations that enable the safe, efficient and convenient flow of automobile traffic. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Development and review of contract and stakeholder requirements for traffic. Work to assure field implementation and conformance. Assist in preparing a list of requirements based on contract documents and stakeholder criteria and review them against Design-Builder submittals and permit requirements. Work with all stakeholders and the design builder to assure all requirements are included in the traffic management plan for each specific work location. Assist in preparing a list of all stakeholder and contract requirements and assure all necessary permits are required. Assure each separate work activity integrates into the overall traffic management program. Assure Design Builders adhere to their design and construction schedules, manage studies and projects, often within the tight time and budget limits; Compétences Essential Degree in Civil Engineering/Transportation/Traffic related degree. Minimum 8 years’ experience in major civil engineering projects. Experienced in developing multiple traffic plans simultaneously running thru a large metropolitan city with multi phases and frequent changes. Understands large project construction programs with tunneling, surface and elevated civil activities. Excellent working knowledge of transport modelling and traffic network planning. Experience with operational analysis software like Synchro Sidra etc and familiarity with strategic planning software like EMME3, VISUM, TransCAD etc A knowledge of computer modelling software such as Autodesk AutoCAD and Trafficware SimTraffic software. Good understanding of transport issues. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Desirable Background includes project experience in rail/metro or similar industry. Road Safety Audits Training Certificate from internationally recognized institute. Middle East experience.
