Wind Technical Support Manager 6 Month Contract Anglesey £Competitive Are you a Technical Support Manager with detailed knowledge of wind turbines and associated plant? If so, read on and apply. The Role To be a technical reference point on the operation and maintenance of wind turbines within the Plant Solutions Business. Providing support to Wind Turbine Technicians, Project Managers and Sales in order to safely deliver defined projects that are allocated to Time, Quality and Cost and to the satisfaction of the Customer. Projects involved will be medium in scope and complexity and will involve the management of the activities of a range of colleagues in planning, procurement, engineering and site operations group. Coordinate a number of work packages requiring a breadth of commercial and technical skills. The role holder will have a direct input to customer management and provide support to business development. Principal Accountabilities Project Management – Actively participate in the day to day activity of the project in line with the plan to ensure on time and quality delivery of the customer’s specification. Customer interface – Build and maintain effective relationships with thee customer to ensure the success of the project and additional future business. Healthy and Safe employees and subcontractors on site – Fulfil the role as a wind turbine Authorising Engineer for Services in the UK. This will include the formal approval of Approved Written Procedures as required under customers or our own Wind Turbine Safety Rules. This will include audits on Wind Turbine Technicians and subcontractors. Project Planning – Develop and secure approval for wind turbine maintenance plans.
