The Company: A major operator is looking for a Deputy QA/QC Coordinator for the FPSO package of an Offshore project. The role will be based on ECP Office in Paris area. The Role: aThe Service holder (assists the FPSO QA/QC Coordinator (based at main CTRs Engineering Office), for the FPSO Vendor surveillance activities. He works closely with the FPSO engineering and procurement managers, leaders and team for all sub-packages (Topsides, Hull and Turret), He provides when requested support (CPY and CTR side) within his area of responsibilities The Service holder participates in monitoring and supervising the FPSO CTR supply chain management to ensure that QA/QC contractual and technical requirements are duly applied within the Engineering, Procurement & Supply activities. With regards to equipment (vendors), the Service holder is in charge for: - Assisting the FPSO QA/QC Coordinator for preparation of the documentation needed for inspection and for ensuring that Inspections are well planned and organised with the appropriate and approved documentation. - Registration and maintenance of Package QA/QC Data, and for administrative monitoring of Inspection & Surveillance activities, including the Notifications for Inspection (NFI) expediting and the Inspection Lookahead schedule data consideration (e.g.: Package "Quality Inspection and Surveillance" Database and Surveillance Plan populating and maintenance). - Registration and monitoring of the Package QA/QC records, and of the QC outputs coming from Contractor (e.g.: Welding/Painting/NDT/Qualification/Competences/ status and data). - Maintenance of the QA/QC registers, Quality indicators (KPIs), follow-up system of anomalies and non conformities and associated corrective actions, and for compliance checks of QA/QC actions progress with the approved plans. In conjunction with the FPSO QA/QC Coordinator the Service holder ensures that surveillance requirements are duly and satisfactory considered by CTR (in accordance with criticality rating outputs and contract). He ensures of the correct implementation of the vendors Inspection and Test and Surveillance plans (ITPs), identifying as necessary the needs for particular involvement from CPY in the surveillance activities, and coordinating the requested inspections in conjunction with the FPSO Quality Leader and other Project/Package leaders. He assists when requested to Engineering and Procurement meetings with CTR. When requested, the Service holder may also be delegated for coordinating the relevant and necessary Surveillance activities performed on behalf of the Package. The Service holder substitutes the FPSO QA/QC Coordinator when this one is one leave. He reports adequately (areas of concerns, problems encountered in the implementation of the Surveillance and Inspection Plan by the CTRs, and the like) on regular basis to the FPSO QAQC Coordinator. For specific concerns or issues he reports also to Package Managers/Leaders and discipline specialists and as necessary to the other Project managers and leaders. Essential Skills / Qualifications: QA-QC techniques and experience Welding, Painting/Coating and NDT techniques Engineering, constructions & installation techniques Desirable Skills / Qualifications: Professional Experience (years): min 1-5 years of Project experience Experience in similar position (years): mini 1-3 years in similar role / exposition to vendor follow up and broad expertise in QAQC.Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent
