A leading Oilfield Services organisation, is looking for an RE-GASIFICATION SUPERINTENDENT in MALTA. Based at the Delimara power station on the island, the project involves the delivery of gas via a storage unit. The responsibilities of the RGU Superintendent include, but aren’t limited to; • A safe and cost effective operation administration/supervision of an LNG regasification system and the jetty with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag, and the CAMS (Compliance Assurance Management System) • Fulfilling the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in the regasification system, associated utilities operation and maintenance are identified and procedures are established and implemented • Managing the human resources available to the operations group so as to maintain a flexible and efficient work culture • Monitoring the planned maintenance system and to report any non- compliances • The Re-Gas Plant Superintendent is the ‘responsible person’ for all operations in the production department requiring a work permit. He shall ensure that all safety precautions are taken and that the work is carried out in a safe manner. May appoint the Gas Plant Supervisor to act as ‘responsible person’ in his place but must inform the Plant Manager of any appointment made The RGU Superintendent should hold at least the following; • At least a Higher National Diploma/Diploma level in an Engineering field; Chemical Engineering preferred • An LNG Operations certification • A recognised Industry-wide Offshore Medical • At least 15 years of Oil & Gas industry experience • At least 5 years of experience in Gas Treatment/LNG Plants • Thorough knowledge and experience of: Central Control Room (CCR) operation, Fire & Gas system, cryogenics, gas compression / treatment system, gas metering, and chemical injection system
