Overview: qedi are currently recruiting for a Pre-Commissioning Team Leader (FTC or Contract) to work as part of our contract team in Leiden, Netherlands. Your role will be to steer & Coordinate the pre-commissioning team. Ensure assistance from other contract departments as Supply Chain, Construction, As build and Close out. Develop processes and procedures and the allocation of personnel for pre-commissioning in the most efficient way. To provide a cost effective and timely execution of the work scopes and reports all necessary information. Responsibilities: Active promotion of SHE expectations and objectives, development of SHE project plan, and leadership of these goals within the pre-commissioning team Demonstrate leadership of Quality and Safety on the project and across the contract Contribute to the management team’s delivery of modifications and projects to the Asset Accountability for the consistent and safe management of pre-commissioning work-scope, delivering fully pre-commissioned systems / sub-systems in accordance with project procedures and processes, schedule and budget Active lead in safety and safe working practices; liaise with contractors, manufactures, vendors and engineering department as necessary to conduct pre-commissioning Report deficiencies to Manager Construction and provide all necessary information to correct the situation Hand over the installation to ensure successful commissioning Define (pre)-commissioning scopes Create pre-commissioning handover certification pack contents Approving test records and test schedules Accountability to control and check new build installations offshore to the existing and required project design and standards Identify required resources to appropriate functional manager and accountable for deliveries in line with business plan and priorities. Initiate requisitions for new personnel Compliance SODM rules to contract rules and regulations Contribute to a yearly personnel assessment and initiate performance evaluation when required Verify timesheets from pre-commissioning personnel in the Timenet system Join the operational team meeting in Leiden or Den Helder Attract, retain, develop and inspire the team Qualifications: Extensive Oil & Gas offshore industry experience Bachelor / HBO / first degree (NL) Fluent in Dutch / English (read/write) Ability and willingness to travel on/offshore and travel international Leadership experience Process, Electrical and Instrumentation level Competent in use of appropriate codes of practices, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation Competent in use of design and assessment methods used within discipline Competent in use of analytical methods used within discipline and aware of theoretical background for analysis programs Competent in quality control requirements and quality assurance for engineering work Competent in design safety / environmental requirements, procedures and responsibilities Computer literate Knowledge of monitoring and controlling
