A Leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction company are recruiting for two Material Planning Coordinators to work on a major Oil&Gas project and be based in Hampshire/Surrey. You role as Material Planning Coordinator will include the following roles and responsibilities: • Will report day to day to the Material Planning Manager • Needs to have a good understanding of the Materials Planning work processes • Detailed working knowledge of MTO procedures and management of Bulk & Tagged materials across Engineering disciplines • Required to have an understanding of the Procurement, Expediting & Freight Forwarding work processes • Required to have an understanding of the warehousing and Material Management procedures • MaterialManager® (MatMan) experience is preferred as this is the project tool that will be utilised. Alternatively extensive experience of other ERP systems is required • Will be required to attend weekly meetings representing Materials Management as a key stakeholder in project discussions • Will be required to work with Key stakeholders on advising project priorities inline with construction & Fabrication schedules • Responsible for providing weekly Material Planning reports to key stakeholders The successful candidate will have previous Material Planning experience working for an EPC contractor or Operator in the Oil&Gas industry. Experience using ERP systems is essential for this role. Candidates with experience of Material Management Software (Material Manager – MatMan) is preferred however other ERP systems experience will be considered.
