Minimum 10 years experience in project controls for major industrial capital projects required Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) required. Higher education is desirable. Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Analysis required Ability to consolidate and summarize large amounts of data into succinct reports that convey information on which to base management decisions Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Must be highly skilled with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel Experience with implementing and operating within KCM is desirable Demonstrates basic knowledge of cost and schedule risk modeling techniques, probabilistic analysis, statistics, and economics Experience with companys Project Management systems such as CPMS, CPDEP, and Cost Engieering is desirable Demonstrates basic knowledge of finance / accounting principles, such as Capital vs. Expense Thoroughness and careful attention to details; Ability to influence and persuade others; Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with others; Ability to balance enforcement of compliance to procedures with the need to provide a service to the project team members Ability to remain positive and effective under pressure, while working under short periods and handling multiple competing priorities Proactive anticipation of needs and offering help to improve the efficiency of the team Ability to receive constructive criticism and use it to improve behaviour and knowledge Willingness to fully comply with company policies and procedures; Willingness to support a strong company safety culture, to take proactive steps to improve safety and to take personal responsibility for the safety of others
