The contract will be under MPH Global Services. Terms and Conditions: Job Location : Barakah (around 300 KMs from Abu Dhabi downtown.) Contract Duration : 1 year (Renewable) Work Schedule : Resident; 4 days per week and minimum 44 working hours per week. 6:30 a.m. - To 5:30 p.m. Accommodation : Provided by Client near the project site (Due to temporary shortage of Accommodation at the project site, accommodation is being provided in Ruwais) There are few consultants in the U.A.E. who are currently working 4 days at the site and spend the 3 days weekend with family in Abu Dhabi. The consultant will be responsible for all costs related to family accommodation, living expenses, etc. MPH can only provide visa, mob/demob flights and medical coverage. Transportation : There is a company bus that can take the Consultant to and from site to Abu Dhabi downtown on weekends Meals : Provided at the site (very good) Medical Coverage : Provided by MPH for self and family (if required) Mob/Demob Tickets : Provided by MPH in economy class for self and family (if required). Salary : Paid by MPH monthly and lump-sum (tax free) Visa : Provided by MPH for self and family (if required) Annual Leaves : 30 days per year but they are not paid. Annual Air Ticket : Not provided. Over-time : Not provided Bonus : Not provided Living Allowance : Not provided Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or equivalent 2-4 years relevant experience in a construction environment Technical Competency to include: MS Office English fluency Safety related Certifications IGC NEBOSH Certificate Exposure to power plant, oil and gas, and utilities Behavioral Competency to include: Good interpersonal skills Understanding of international and local safety standards Roles & Responsibilities: Evaluate physical risk and conduct Risk Assessments. Conduct investigations regarding accidents to determine their causes and makes recommendations to prevent recurrence. Conduct daily inspections and report them to his line manager Follow all relevant departmental Health and Safety policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure Health & Safety compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying theses HS policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people who are at the employee’s place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work Attend and support all major activities at site whenever requested by the management. Provide input into development of appropriate training programs to educate all of client’s staff on health and safety systems and procedures, and conduct industrial safety induction and development training to ensure transfer of knowledge
