Job Description Our client is currently looking to hire a Senior Contracts Engineer.Reporting to the Project Services Lead, this role will be responsible for the execution of project contract and procurement activities for next phase of their LNG project. Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Achieve cost savings through the contracting process; Preparation of FEED execution & evaluation of FEED contractor; Implementation and set-up of FEED contract without any delay; Execution and control of FEED contract incl. periodical reporting; Management of Changes for FEED Contract includes necessary negotiation with FEED Contractors; Evaluation and analysis of FEED contractors deliverables; Close-out of FEED contract(includes reporting); All the required Contract and Procurement activities for Long Lead Items include Contract Strategy updates, ITT preparation, Evaluation, implementation and execution; Active involvement to finalization of Contract Strategy for EPC contract; Preparation and coordination of EPC tender document; Development of all the required C&P guidelines, processes and systems; Active contribution to other Project Management activities such as Cost estimation, Cost Control, Planning and so on; Active contribution to Companys Review Process(IVAS) and reporting to Management & other stakeholders; Evaluation of EPC tender documents; Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the companys policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times. Job Requirements Engineering degree; Recommended Requirements: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status; Demonstrate a high level of awareness in safe working practices associated with the design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning of onshore oil and gas facilities; Excellent communication and written skills (English) and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures; Sound knowledge of Completion methodologies and completion management system (TOSTER or equivalent); Extensive experience working under permit to work systems and adhering to permit to work conditions; Have a good understanding and knowledge level on design aspects of packages and equipment (process and utilities) including interfaces with other systems; Strong capability to work to project schedules and budgets; Proactive in prevention and practical resolution of technical problems; Knowledge of industry construction codes and standards; Experience of pre-commissioning and system handovers; Minimum 5 years experience in onshore and/or offshore oil & gas industry including working in Australia; Experience with large production facilities; Excellent Coordination skills; Experience of pre-commissioning, commissioning, system handovers and Partials (transfer of care and custody); Working with and consolidating all required engineering and completion data and records at multi- discipline level for system/ subsystem handovers.
