Work Location: Doha, Qatar Starting date : ASAP Status : Residential QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Education: A-levels + 3 years study in discipline or BTS (French) or equivalent Level II Professional experience: 10 years experience on oil and gas production installations Technical competencies: A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the mechanical equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations – Air compressor, Pumps, turbines, hydraulic systems, manual valves… Behavioural competencies: Ability to direct/lead large multinational teams - Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others - Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site Other competencies: He must have a proven sense of responsibility and a talent for management. Languages - English necessary, French an advantage ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES In charge of carrying out required maintenance engineering for mechanical equipment under supervision of maintenance manager. In line with company’s referential, he: Ensures the quality of maintenance by organising review. Also, designs, follows-up and optimizes maintenance concepts in close cooperation with the mechanical team on site, Determines, within his field, the maintenance policy of the subsidiary, in line with Company referential,i.e.: Defines the types of maintenance to be carried out on equipment (preventive, systematic or conditional, corrective, etc.), Defines the stock management policy regarding spare parts (type of management, supply thresholds, etc.), Establishes the maintenance procedures to be applied, Prepares the budgets for his overall area of activity and follow it thoroughly within the year, Supports site for any needs in his field of competency, Prepares scopes of work (ensuring that all relevant operating procedures and safety regulations are written in), proper planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy maintenance operations taking into account production or other constraints, Analyses indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management and intervention reports with a view to improving maintenance in his area (HSE, availability, preservation of equipment, OPEX reduction). Update CMMS accordingly (after derogation if required), Makes sure that all equipment and spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS data base), Controls that the preventive maintenance operations scheduled on facilities are executed as planned, ensuring that all necessary spare parts and materials are available as and when required, Assists with the analysis of equipment malfunctions and makes recommendations for repair and future preventive action. Developing scope of work for specifics maintenance contracts Works with Contract and Procurement (as duet) for an efficient material or services purchasing. In order to achieve his tasks, he may use the following resources: Dedicated software’s , Assistance of OPS/EXP experts, or any other external expert if required, Maintenance contractors. Knowledge and observance of Company HSE policy, rules and procedures (HSE MS) and in particular ISO14001 standard. Participation to HSE activities and global improvement (e.g. referential, reporting, REX, MAESTRO, trainings, HSE action plans…) Contribute to the ALK Asset Integrity initiative by reporting any anomaly, defect, bad practice, lack of equipment, lack of competence that could result in a major HSE incident or loss of production. He is the technical authority regarding Mechanical installations and Lifting equipments.
