Key Accountabilities Coordinate wildlife contractors and consultants at the various sites Manage relationships with government and other regulators (Fish and Wildlife, Alberta Environment and Parks, Alberta Energy Regulator, etc.) Complete wildlife monthly and annual reporting for operations in the region, as required Support the environmental on-call teams with wildlife expertise Conduct internal inspections in order to improve wildlife compliance Participate in internal and external wildlife committees Train and educate operational staff and leaders regarding wildlife, as required Coordinate inspections, investigations and tours by regulators and internal leaders at the plant Required Qualifications Experience and Education: Experience working with Provincial and Federal regulatory acts and regulations Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field Experience working with wildlife Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge relevant to industrial operations You are organized and capable of handling changing priorities You communicate effectively (both written and verbal) and capable of working in challenging situations Working Conditions The shift schedule is a 5 days per week (8 hour days) Monday to Friday Must be comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions
