On behalf of our international client, we are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to be based on site, for contract >12 months Project is in a difficult location- Red zone country. Remuneration ranges 8000 Euro to 10 000 Euro/month, with completion bonus for project Apartment is provided and so is transportation. Rotational flights provided. Role: Support client in all civil engineering aspects. Protecting Owners interest in project and take charge of overseeing all civil aspects. Check technical documentation and drawings from subcontractor are consistent with drawing. Verify that civil works are performed in accordance Ensure quantity of materials & bill of quantities provided are consistent with agreements. Manage documentations across all stakeholders and manager NCRs Establish local QA civil procedures. Establish appropriate non conformity management procedures for timely identification and resolution of the related issues. Adhere to schedule and suggest mitigation to delays Support the site manager in preparing reports and meeting minutes Support claim-management related Deliverables: Civil works executed as per approved engineering documents. Timely resolution of Non Conformities. Regular project reports and minute of meetings. Skills and experience: At least 15 years experience on construction sites in the power generation or oil and gas environment. Proven track records on similar projects as site civil engineer. Master degree in Civil Engineering. Soft skills: Able to stay for long periods in foreign, High level of flexibility and autonomy. Strong orientation to problem solving, proactive approach. English fluent. Able to work under pressure, in difficult environmental conditions. Ability to speak east european language.
