The Company: Our client is a leading automation solutions provider. Due to recent expansion they are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager with experience in Power projects. The Role: • The resource must be able to work alongside the end-user customer as a peer • Manage company and site subcontractor I&C resources • He will have project management/engineering, project control/scheduling support from the personnel plus functional support - HSE, QA • Manage and track daily / weekly workload and progress • Take all necessary actions to recover any schedule slippages or quality issues with subcon • Attend daily site meetings and present progress and risks • Drive on-schedule progress with PM and site supervisor personnel; risk mitigation and management • Ensure 100% site readiness for pre-outage and outage cutover phases due in the next few months • Experience of managing similar site-based projects is mandatory • Domain knowledge of power plant systems and field equipment is a requirement Essential Skills / Qualifications: • Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation or Automation Engineering • 15 – 20 years experience in similar projects including Power Plant • Previous experience working onsite is a must • Experience in Al Taweelah site will be a big plus
