JOB DESCRIPTION – Support Engineer OTC Job Title: Support Engineer OTC Department: Technical Department Reporting Line: Head of Engineering Based in: Amsterdam 1 GENERAL SUMMARY Support the detailed design and construction process for the onshore turkey construction team. Coordinate designated project activities and provide general support for the designated sub-project. Provide general engineering support to the project team. 2 TOTAL NUMBER OF REPORTING STAFF No reporting staff. 3 TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibility for the Support Engineer is to provide support for the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of technical aspects of the work, to ensure it is executed safely, with quality and within schedule and budget objectives. The position also maintains key project processes, such as risk management, action tracking and follow up, and interface coordination. He may be tasked to provide support to the execution of designated work activities within the project team. The Support Engineer reports to the Engineering Lead or Sr Project Engineer responsible for the work scope. Specific responsibilities of the Support Engineer include:- • Performing project or task management or coordination functions as delegated by the Engineering Lead or Project Manager, including customer liaison, coordination of technical meetings, and general project supervision and coordination. • Maintain the project risk register, follow up on risk mitigations, and provide risk reporting • Maintain the project action register, follow up on action status, and provide reporting. • Executing selected engineering tasks as relevant during the project. • Supporting engineering activities to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of the project. • Implementing engineering processes including interface coordination, management of change, Technical Queries, and any other process support. JOB DESCRIPTION – Support Engineer OTC • Coordinating between engineering and parallel activities for procurement, contracting, data collection, permitting. 4 QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • Bsc Engineering (Eng) or equivalent; • >3 years of experience with broad knowledge in onshore gas facilities; • Experience working in international and multicultural environment; • Fluency in English; • Turkish language is a preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5 WORKING CONDITIONS • Amsterdam based, possibly EPC contractor or site based in the future; • Frequent traveling may be required.
