(210) HR Director job in Iraq

Job Description Based in Kurdistan the HR Director will have ultimate responsibility for all people based activity within an organization from both an operational and strategic perspective. The HR Director will be involved in many areas, such as: resource planning and recruitment; training; performance management & managing a variety of employee relations issues at any one time and being the first point of contact for all employee related issues. The HR Director will also oversee the companys performance management, training & development, salary review process, payroll and all compensation and benefits issues. The HR Director will work closely with Executive Management of the Group. Work on adhoc projects / assignments as needed by the Executive Management of the Group. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives. Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the organization. Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization, as and when they occur. Oversee & contribute to the talent acquisition process, follow up on induction parameters in line with the responsible hiring Manager. Establishes training & development plan & budget for the organization in consultation with key stake holders within the organization. Conduct training needs analysis, designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads. Manage costs to budget. Provide day to day advice to line managers on all human resource issues: management of staff, remuneration, sensitive absence/long term sickness cases, complex grievances including public disclosures and whistle blowing, complex/gross misconduct disciplinary cases, third party pressure dismissals. Review all staff salaries and make recommendations for pay rises in consultation with Department Heads. Implement any increases and promotions. Help compile monthly HR Board report and review monthly HR statistics with HR Team highlighting trends and issues. Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction. Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances. Promote HR best practice and consistency across the business. Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values. Educational Qualification Degree qualified in HR, Business Administration or similar. Professional Qualification (If applicable) Preferred to be CIPD qualified.
