Wood is currently looking to recruit a Senior Fabrication Engineer on its ZADCO project in UAE. Job Purpose and scope: Be an HSES Champion during fabrication phase of the Project Serve as a member of the SRP team responsible for inputting into fabrication planning and execution and provide oversight Contractor and Fabricators to ensure Contract schedule, quality and safety, and standards requirements are met for the SRP modules Ensure suitable Constructability Plans are developed and implemented by Contractor and Fabricators Point of Contact for resolving queries relating to SRP Modules between ZADCO and Contractor / Fabricator Coordinate required input for / from reviews and verification activities relating to SRP Modules Principal Accountabilities: Champion on-site HSES awareness and HSES performance with Contractor and Fabricator Site Team members Provide / coordinate fabrication input to project planning Provide / coordinate constructability input, tracking, and feedback relating to SRP Modules Establish / coordinate Fabrication Planning Program and seek alignment with the Project Manager, Project Execution Team lead, and Construction Lea, highlight issues and proposed resolutions / mitigations Monitor / champion implementation of execution activities and ensure development/review of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for effective execution Utilize Fabrication engineering best practices Provide accurate and timely reports on project planning and execution activities as requested. Review and provide input to development of Contractor’s detailed plans and procedures to complete the work scope Lead resolution of fabrication yard engineering issues between ZADCO and Contractor Review deliverables for quality, conformance to Contract requirements, and consistency with other work products Apply lessons learned from previous projects, participate in lessons learned reviews, and capture lessons learned from current assigned projects B.Sc. in Engineering Minimum 20 years postgraduate experience in Oil & Gas in similar fields Must have recent experience in coordination of modules Fabrications Working knowledge of relevant international codes, standards and specifications Possesses good troubleshooting skills Good HSE leadership and commitment Good written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language Good technical team and interpersonal skills Familiar with completion management systems
