The Role: Fircroft are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a contract position within Kazakhstan Rotation: 28X28 Accommodation provided Single Status Only Flights provided, economy class, no travel days paid. Medical Cover provided Develop and implement the Logistics Strategy & Plan for EPC Offshore projects team which will include Offshore Personnel control and tracking implementation, daily running and associated procedures, effective and timely movement of personnel for Offshore Project. Manage all Offshore logistical support services for company barges (including Living Quarter Vessels) liaising with the onshore EP Logistics department in Atyrau with regard to contractual issues and onshore support requirements. Assist in conjunction with EP Project HSE, EER and incident management systems with particular emphasis on POB management and control. Job Accountabilities: Ensuring Logistics HSE Guidance is applied when developing and implementing Logistics Solutions Implementation of Logistics Corporate Policy, Systems and Processes Ensuring the necessary resources is available to meet the Offshore Project Statement of Requirements, schedule and execute activities as part of the integrated logistics solution for EPCs. Develop systems & procedures required to enable the effective provision and control of Logistics Services to support Project Operations. Develop personnel movement plans and procedures and logistics solution for ER / EER / OSR Ensuring coordination of transportation activities of Project and Contractors personnel between the logistic bases and production facilities offshore. Ensuring Helicopter and crew boat Operations throughout the island are managed successfully and in a timely manner Supervision of all company and contractor managed catering contractors, ensuring compliance, delivery of supplies to company guidelines and keeping accommodation standards in cleanliness and laundry to a high standard. Ensure Health and Hygiene inspections on each of the Company and contractor TLQ’s are carried out and any issues / actions closed out, liaising and interfacing with the Medical and HSE departments. Also ensuring a programme is in place for ROK required inspections. Managing the owned and contractor marine fleets operating in the field and from company and contractors marine support bases. Manage the updating and reporting of company and contractor POB information to reflect the precise number of personnel based offshore. Preparing in conjunction with the Offshore Site Manager, Production Operations and Logistics the effective transition of the Logistics Services provisions to ensure services are defined, infrastructure & resources are in place to enable Logistics to undertake the full Logistics Support Ensure quality Catering and housekeeping services expected standards are managed and maintained throughout offshore on all Company and Contractor Living Quarters. Coordinating the vessel Management and being the direct link and interface of any technical problems arising on Company and Contractor Living Quarters. Cooperating with the ICT departments for any living quarter ICT requirements that have to be carried out. Exchanging information with the utmost respect for confidentiality with the security department, highlight the management of possible problems that may arise Manage the arrival of visitors and VIP guest to the Island , follow up with the contractor to assist their arrival up to their focal point. Safety Responsibilities: Compliance with: Kazakhstan Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Laws/Regulations; The Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and Safety Management Systems ; Demonstrate a positive and pro-active commitment to HSE through the personal application of safety critical behaviors; Supporting/ Participating in Emergency Drills and Exercises as required; Reporting all Accidents/ Incidents and Unsafe Acts/ Conditions in a timely manner. Main Interfaces (internal and external): Internal: Project, Corporate and Logistics Personnel and services. Offshore Project management team External: Regulatory and Government Authority as required. Contractors..Third party service providers for aviation and marine. Essential Skills / Qualifications: Qualification & Experience Requirements: The job holder must have the following educational qualifications: Higher professional technical education; Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry in an appropriate discipline including experience on senior level; Experience in POB management and the control of personnel. Experienced administration and management of catering contacts Experience in management of logistic infrastructure.Experience of liaising with and organizing variety of contractors and vendors. Experience in the development of systems and procedures Knowledge of Marine vessels and barges. Experience in shallow water operations is desirable. Familiarity with mooring techniques and equipment.Knowledge of working in cold environment with Ice breaking vessels is desirable Knowledge of Materials/Equipment specific to the Oil and Gas Industry, Materials Management, Supply Chain process and local / international custom laws; Share this job
