Key Experience Requirements Ø Minimum fifteen (15) years of work experience in O&G industries of which at least ten (10) years must be as HUC field engineer, technician, supervisor or equivalent Ø At least ten (10) years of experiences as Client personnel in the upstream Offshore Oil & Gas industry Ø At least two (2) Offshore greenfield projects in Korean shipyards as HUC field engineer, technician or Supervisor, or extensive experiences in working in a multi-culture environment Ø Previously worked on integrated projects with CAPEX in excess of $300MM Ø Preference for previous offshore Hook-up and commissioning experiences Critical Technical Skills and Capabilities Ø Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the construction, fabrication and hookup and commissioning of offshore facilities Ø Shall possess good knowledge and awareness of HSE matters in construction, mechanical completion and HUC activities including schedule, planning, progress measurement, technical and methodologies Ø Must have strong technical knowledge of piping systems for offshore facility and its hook-up and commissioning procedure and methodologies Ø Must have strong technical knowledge and experiences in commissioning methodology, planning and work flow of Korean shipyard(s) and its completions methods Ø Must possess a good understanding of Completions Management Systems (CMS) and its industrial best practice for offshore facility Ø Must be well versed with relevant international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, ISO and AWS Ø Must have strong multi-discipline supervisory experience and interfacing skills Position Responsibilities Ø Ensure all HUC works are fully captured by the Contractor in their HUC procedures, schedules, drawings and other documentation Ø Supervise Contractor’s onshore/offshore commissioning works for piping systems and assist with start-up operations following offshore commissioning Ø Monitor and supervise for golden weld joints and its methodology and integrity check Ø Take responsibility for Leak Testing methodology, preparation and execution activities from a client’s prospective Ø Review and ensure preservation requirements are sufficient for piping and valves, to ensure non-contamination Ø Monitor and supervise all required test (leak test, passing test for critical valves and others) to be performed by Contractor Ø Manage Contractor in order to comply with Operation procedure for any offshore activities including Hook-up and offshore commissioning Ø Reviews and checks HUC feasibility and methods to support realistic schedules for HUC activities Ø Reviews and approves all relevant site queries, site changes and deviation requests raised by Contractor which relate or effect HSE and HUC activities in a timely manner Ø Reviews and checks that site safety procedures and HUC procedures are incorporated with project specific requirements of HSE Ø Oversees Contractor’s activities with manners of quality and HSE points Ø Review and monitor materials and delivery dates and advise any impacts to the HUC program. And ensure proper preservation of materials Ø Monitor construction/ fabrication progress dates and advise any impacts to the HUC program Ø Liaise with project and other discipline engineers to ensure priorities are maintained for work preparation and execution Ø Be actively involved in mechanical completion system walkdowns, completions preparatory activities and OTP’s readiness and execution Ø Review and advise on commissioning and start up spares, special tools, testing tools, calibration & certification compliance, temporaries etc. Ø Ensure readiness of all PTW, JSA, method statements, work packs etc. in relation to HUC readiness and execution Ø Provide input to project reporting as needed Ø Input into operations prepared Start-up of facility (i.e. OTP’s etc.)
