Job Description Roles & Responsibilities · Plan, assign, and direct the maintenance and operation of all major hospital utility systems. · Establish and implement policies and procedures for the facilities department for the hospital. · Prepare budgets for each functional area; recommend expenditures for hospital maintenance services; coordinate the purchase of material, equipment, tools and services provided by vendors for the repair and maintenance of hospital facilities, equipment and grounds. · Plan, assign, and direct the internal construction, repair and maintenance of hospital and facilities. · Collaborate with the Safety Officer to develop and enforce hospital-wide safety policies and procedures and direct corrective actions. · Ensure maintenance of all security systems & oversee the environment of care/safety program across the hospital in coordination with HSE team. · May perform other tasks, as and when needed.
